Want to know God
God wired us with a desire to want to know God. Without him, there is an emptiness in our life that we just try to fill with other stuff, say careers, money, sports, drugs… and the list goes on. But we never really experience joy until we know God. Read along and see where God takes you if you would just let him.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
Come near to God
You can’t find Jesus from a distance…you have to let him in. If you really want to know God, give him your all.
“Come near to God and he will come near to you.” James 4:8a
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23a
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10-13
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Jesus loves you so much
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. ” John 3:16-17
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus is the way. Don’t you want to know God?
There really is only one way to know God and that is through his Son, Jesus Christ. You’ll want to know him too!
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-77
Isn’t it time you said yes to Jesus?
If this is your time to choose Jesus, pray these words in your heart.
Thank you Jesus that you never gave up on me. I believe that you do provide the way, the truth and the life. I come to you now asking forgiveness. I do believe in my heart that you were raised from the dead and accept your gift of eternal life. I pray that you would reveal yourself to me more each day that I may draw closer to you for your name is above every name. In the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Amen

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10
“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they are in God.” I John 4:15
Angels Rejoicing!!!
If you just prayed this prayer, please know the angels are rejoicing right now. “There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10b
