Fear

What are you afraid of?  Maybe you’re going through a difficult time or a time of uncertainity.  God tells us not to fear but to trust in him.  God is bigger than any difficulty you are facing!  Read what he tells us about fear.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  Isaiah 41:10

No Worries

“Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? …So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? Or What shall we drink?  Or What shall we wear?  …your heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But seek first his kindgom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”   Matthew 6:27, 31-33

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own.”  Matthew 6:34

Then Jesus said to his disciples:  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.”  Luke 12:22-23

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will ot set you ablaze.  Isaiah 43:2

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.  The Lord be with all of you.”  2 Thessalonians 3:16

“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”  Luke 12:25-26

“Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”   Phillippians 4:4, 6-7
