Discouraged?

Life can be so difficult, especially when we try to do it on our own.  But did you know that God didn’t intend for us to do life alone.  Don’t be discouraged…God is there for you.  Put your trust in him!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”  I John 4:4

Don’t be discouraged…the Lord will fight for you!

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”  Exodus 14:14

“Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”  Psalm 62:8

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.  Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”  Hebrews 12:11

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”  James 1:12

“In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.  These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”  1 Peter 1:6-7
