Troubles – We All Have Them!

God tells us we will face troubles of many kinds but we don’t have to face them alone.  God is near as we walk through the trials of this life.  Call on him and experience the peace that only God can give.

“Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.  Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.”  Psalm 25:17-18

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”  Psalm 34:17-18

“You have delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.”  Psalm 54:7

Call on the Lord

“I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me.”  Psalm 120:1

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'”  Matthew 19:26

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves received from God.”  2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”  James 1:2-4

“For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.”  Psalm 116:8a

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”  James 1:12

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then shall we see face to face.  Now I know in part; then I shall know fully; even as I am fully known.”  I Corinthians 13:12

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”  2 Corinthians 4:17-18
