God’s Mercy Extends from Generation to Generation

Mercy is when you don’t get the punishment you deserve.  We have all sinned so there is no way we should be able to even hope for eternal life with Jesus…at least on our own merit.  But Jesus did a wonderful thing for us.  He died on the cross for our sins in order to give us a new life…the hope of eternal life with him.  Once we ask Jesus to forgive us, he wipes away all of our sins.

“His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.”  Luke 1:50
