Trust in the Lord

Trust in the LordWhen we put our trust in people and things, we’re bound to be disappointed at times in our life.  No comparison to when you put your trust in the Lord.  Read on to see what God’s word has to say about trusting him.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”  Proverbs 3:5-6

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”  Psalm 20:6

“Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.”  Psalm 146:3

“But I trust in you, Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’  My times are in your hands.”  Psalm 31:14-15a

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”  Psalm 56:3

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.”  Isaiah 12:2a

“In God, whose word I praise–in God I trust and am not afraid.  What can mere mortals do to me?”  Psalm 56:4
