Turned off by religion?
Why design a web site to show people how to find God? We’re not a church or a Bible college. We find that many people just don’t know how to go about sharing their faith or telling others what Jesus has done in their life. That’s why we put together an easy to follow format for people to walk through to find God in a non-threatening and non-traditional way. We understand that many are turned off by religion and the church thing. And really, Jesus wasn’t into religion either.
This may come as a surprise to many but Jesus was all about having a relationship with you and not caught up in religion and traditions. This is where we hope people will be receptive to our web site to show them the path on how to find God and connect with him.
The great thing about God is that he wants to know us personally, no matter where we are in life. No matter how messed up we are, he still loves us and wants us to let him into our heart. You don’t have to be “good enough” first but just come as you are. The Bible is full of messed up people that many would have considered failures, but God used them and worked through them and he will you too if you accept him into your life. You see, God put this desire in our heart to know him but too often we push him away and other stuff takes priority in our life.
“He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11b
Very words of God
Almost our entire web site was built using God’s words and not our words. We felt it was important that our readers not feel we were lecturing or talking down to them so we decided to let God do the talking. Even though the Bible was written hundreds of years ago, it is still as relevant in our lives today as it was the day it was written. How many other books can say that?
“All scripture is God-breathed.” 2 Timothy 3:16a
